My Art from the vaults of my mind: Sold Art

Taken from the popular culture image of Galactica.  The image floats in an imaginary landscape.  A common theme in my work. A part of this project which includes all recently sold pieces of mine.
Galactica; encaustic, 2016, 3.5' x 3'
Inspired by the work of Neo-Expressionist Neo Rauch.  I can't explain much else other than it's similarity to seance pictures which the encaustic medium is complimentary (note the swirling of the shapes).. This is my last piece I created in 2018.  It sold a month following my creating it.
Elvis' Ghost, 8" x8", encaustic, 2018
Gothic Castles; 10'' x 12'', encaustic on woo panel, 2017

Also inspired by German expression.  Note the wavy, energetic lines.  If you use xeroxing you can transfer ink into wax as I have accomplished here.  This is part of my project of sold pieces.
where is my mind?; 10'' x 12'', encaustic on wood panel, 2016

A part of a comic book design I made as an undergraduate student now realized as a painting.  Of note is the contrasting beige and denim colors and Kokoschka-esque color palate and the dark lines concentrating the foreground.  I love ink transfers into wax!  This piece also recently sold at an art fair I attended in the fall of 2018.
Inspired by German Expressionist Architecture of the '30s.  This is a time period of exciting contributions to the art field.  This piece also sold well at a festival I attended in the Fall of 2018.
German Depression; encaustic, 2017, 8"x8"
